Wisconsin Highway 38 became the scene of a head-on collision that sent three people to the hospital recently. Only one of the three injured is known to have been released from the hospital. The car accident happened in the vicinity of Brooke Road in Caledonia.
Wisconsin authorities are withholding the names of two people involved in an accident while they notify their families. The car accident left one person dead and another seriously injured. Two vehicles were involved in the accident that took place in Fond du Lac County.
The Wisconsin State Patrol reports that two Waukesha County deputies were taken to Froedtert Hospital after suffering injuries to their backs and faces. The deputies were injured when their cruiser was struck by another vehicle. One teen has been arrested in connection with the car accident.
An unidentified Wisconsin man was killed at the 4500 block of West Loomis Road in Greenfield. The identity of the 54-year-old man was not released pending notification of his death to his family. The Greenfield Police have indicated that the pedestrian victim of this auto accident is from South Milwaukee.
According to the Wisconsin Department of Transportation, the state witnessed 112,516 crashes this year, resulting in 565 deaths and over 40,000 injuries. Of those accidents, nearly 1,200 were pedestrian related which led to 57 deaths and over 1,100 injuries.
