Wrongful death lawsuit filed against carmaker after recall

There are multiple reasons why a motor vehicle accident might occur. While often the behavior of a driver is to blame, other times the fault may lie in the vehicle itself. When an automobile is defective, it could lead to an accident occurring. As is the case with any motor vehicle accident it is possible that these could lead to death.

1 dead, 5 injured in Wisconsin single car accident

It was around 2:45 a.m. on the morning of St. Patrick's Day. A vehicle occupied by six people was traveling on Interstate 90/39. As the vehicle left the Interstate to enter Wisconsin Highway 14, the driver lost control of the vehicle for reasons not yet known. One person in the vehicle died, and the five other occupants suffered injuries in the single car accident.

Alcohol believed to have been a factor in SXSW fatal car accident

Motor vehicle accidents that are the result of drunk driving occur in communities throughout the nation, including Western Wisconsin, on an all too regular basis. Recently, one such incident taking place at the popular South by Southwest Festival, located in another state, left multiple people injured and three dead. The incident marred what most consider a fun music and film festival.

Car accident on Wisconsin Hwy 51 closes road for hours

Sometime before 3 a.m. on March 9, a wreck occurred on Wisconsin Highway 51. When police responded to the scene of the single car accident, they discovered that the crash led to two fatalities. That portion of the highway was closed for close to five hours as law enforcement officers investigated and had the scene cleared.

Wisconsin bus accident sends 1 to hospital

Each school day parents throughout the state of Wisconsin entrust the safety of their children to the individuals behind the wheel of the busses that transport them to school. Most days the trip to school is uneventful. Other times however, it is possible that a bus could be involved in a motor vehicle accident with another car on the road. This occurred earlier this month on a Wisconsin road.

Wisconsin woman dies in weather-related car accident, 1 injured

The family of a Wisconsin woman is mourning her loss as they try to comfort and care for the 4-month-old daughter she left behind. The woman died what authorities say was a weather-related car accident. Her little girl was in the car as well, but the family says she is doing fine physically.

Wisconsin woman watches sister die in car accident

Two Wisconsin sisters were so close that they worked and lived together. Their morning routine had been the same for 15 years. Tragically, the morning of Feb. 24 was the last time the two would ever be together because one of the sisters died in a pedestrian vs. car accident.
