Wisconsin woman may have been victim of 2nd car accident

The Waukesha County Sheriff's Department has been investigating the death of a Wisconsin woman in early March. Through the course of that investigation, it has come to the attention of investigators that the woman may have been hit not by one car, but by two. They are now looking for information on the vehicle involved in the second hit-and-run car accident involving this victim.

Wisconsin police still not sure of fault in fatal bus accident

The surviving family of a 79-year-old Mount Pleasant man still has no answers this month when it comes to the events surrounding the man's death in December. Despite the Racine Police Department's best efforts, investigators are still no closer to knowing what caused the deadly car accident that claimed his life, nor do they know who to hold responsible.

State deputies looking for second vehicle involved in fatal pedestrian accident

Police say that a 54-year-old Wisconsin woman was simply helping a friend on the side of the road when she was struck and killed by a passing motorist. Officers from the Waukesha County Sheriff's Department believe that she had been crossing the street when the accident occurred in the early morning hours, but say that there could have been another car that was involved in the accident as well.

Wisconsin man could face wrongful death claim in shooting

Almost two years ago, a Wisconsin man was shot and killed by someone he considered a friend. Recently, that man was sentenced to three years in prison and five years of extended supervision after his release. The victim's family wanted more prison time for the man and may file a wrongful death claim against their loved one's friend.

Wisconsin's drunk drivers get no luck this St. Patty's Day

With St. Patrick's Day just around the corner, as many bars across the state of Wisconsin stock up on green-themed alcoholic beverages, law enforcement across the state are gearing up for what is expected to be one of the biggest nights for DUI arrests this month. But while the state steps up patrols, one Milwaukee lawmaker says this isn't enough to keep innocent drivers safe from drunk-driving accidents.

Winter weather in Wisconsin has been the cause of more than a few accidents over the years. This year has been no exception. A pile up on Highway 41 involved approximately 26 cars, and another car accident in Nekimi resulted in a fatality.

Six new OWI bills introduced to keep Wisconsin drivers safer

Law enforcement has long since struggled with the increasing number of alcohol-related accidents across the state of Wisconsin. And for years now, families who have lost loved ones because of drunk-driving accidents and advocate groups such as MADD are constantly calling for change in a state that has seen too many die at the hands of OWIs.
